Has there ever been a time in your life when a complete stranger walked into your life and you just knew s/he was a God sent gift to you?
Well this sweet lady sharing a cuppa with my little E was one of a few instrumental gifts to me last year when I was going through the toughest time in my life. Our friendship started with one brief phone conversation in January of 2013 when the difficult and painful journey began. Soon I discovered that she had gone through a similar journey 25 years ago, and I knew our connection was no coincidence.
She sent me weekly notes of love, care and support via snail mail and text messages, always pointing me to God's word and His eternal promises, and I did not get to meet her face to face until July of 2013 when I was well enough to face the world again.
This picture was taken almost one year to the day after our very first phone conversation.
Always in awe of how God lovingly orchestrates our lives through good and painful times...
